Python Job: Software Engineering Intern

Position Description:

Individual will work within the Global Engineering Operations organization to develop, document, test, support, and maintain software, data, and reporting solutions for new product introduction (NPI).

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Work with mentor to design and develop software using various software and configuration management technologies.
• Provide testing support in existing NPI software application and reports.
• Develop and maintain technical and user-friendly software and training documentation.

Knowledge / Skills Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written English proficiency, and ability to collaborate with a global team.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to comprehend linkages between business process and software / data solutions.
• Technical and software competency.
• Proactive and supportive self-starter, helping teams and colleagues before being asked, making issues known before they become critical.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Comfortable working in an international environment.
• Good working knowledge in at least some or all of the following:
  • Java, JavaScript, Python
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent to create impactful reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point required.
